The Nike “First Use” Collection celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Swoosh as this Nike Waffle Trainer 2 starts off by being covered in Green Noise all throughout the upper which has been constructed out of a combination of a nylon mesh with matching suede overlays on the toe, eyestay, and heel. To break up the green upper we see the addition of double cream and blue laces, orange on the embroidered Swooshes on the side panels and the suede heels, and navy waffle rubber outsoles. Signature details include “First use June 18, 1971” on the lateral side panels, retro Nike logos on the insoles, and white midsoles.
